Maybe have Public 1 as no runes and no turrets. Matchmode sort of but without needing ready command

Public 2 would be turret and runes.

It would give us and everyone else a chance to choose which game type we'd like to play at a given time.

The private server has everything you want. (no quake, no turret, no runes..)

True, but that's no good is we want to have a public game with outside clan guys or even non clan guys. A LOT of the seasoned CTF guys out there hate runes and turrets etc.

It's a complaint I hear a lot from people [not just our clan] when we play on either of our public servers.

The private server, I would like to keep private. I wouldn't like to give the password out to everyone as we use that server mainly for training and matches. It would defeat the purpose of it being private Smile

Also, the private server is MGL configged so people need to type 'ready' before each map startss. Noobs are always going to forget to type 'ready'. And there is ALWAYS going to be the one guy who just WON'T type ready at all.

True, but...

I like playing public games. Playing on a passworded server where hardly anyone knows or can remember the password, is not conducive to a good public gaming experience Smile

We have two publics. I don't see a reason why they should be configured identically Smile
