Grrrr.. I just can't get my system stable. There are quite some issues with the ATI cards when I browse their support site. Even the latest BIOS + gfx card software doesn't make it stable..
Guess my system is too new to play a decent, non freezing / corrupting CTF or TF2

Ive read quite some good reviews about the new 8800(G92) GTS 512mb gfx card. It performs nearly the same as the GTX and costs about 150,- less AND its a PCI-e 2.0 card. I have a PCI-e 2.0 Mainboard and FSB at 1333mhz, so this should be the winning team. (I hope.. after all the bad experiences of last months )

"Ca$hworks, I've got it" well.. I ordered it. Within 2 weeks I will receive an ASUS 8800 GTS 512mb (G92) for € 287,50!
Now I only need a Harddisk (hint hint) and I'm good to go

buy a western digital raptor it doesnt matter how fast your processor or RAM is the HD will always slow you down. When i installed my raptor i couldnt believe the difference in speed, i was amazed now i have 2 in RAID
or if you have money to burn still a solid state drive £500+ for 64GB A bit expensive I know
