My first reaction was "omfg, i am confused"

played the map yesterday for an hour or so, then i got the drill where to go.
the most complicated part is the bunker, with imho to many routes to cover, so we lost a few rounds because the engies didn´t know where to put their gear up.

what i really love on badlands is the immense speed the game evolves, with many possibilities to get from one point to another, there was always an enemy to deal with. The control points are pretty close to each other so there is always a tense battle for the middle point which is hard to protect, being so exposed on the bridge.

as a spy, this map is besides dustbowl my most favorite, it has so many corners and blind spots you can use to uncloak... i love it.
hence blind spots are the home of pyro-scum, we had to deal with a mucho grande amount of the incinerating scum.

the most critical point are, i believe, engies. although you don´t have to walk as much as on the other maps, the speed of the map is crucial.
having taken over the enemies 2nd cp, the team needs at least one engi to move up and fortify the cap-point, move up the teles etc.

overall i really enjoyed valve´s new brainchild for it´s sick architecture

I wish. Too damn busy. Have to earn gaming rig* money Smile

* Well, gaming rig gets very low priority. Most of my money is to be pumped into the house. Bills, food, mortgage, painting, cleaning, fixing things etc. Normal every day house things. You house owners know what I'm talking about.... Smile

Nah, same girlfriend. We worked a lot of shit out and things are pretty good.

I've played badlands a bit. It's not bad. It can get hectic. But you HAVE to know what you're doing. If there was ever a team based map, this is it. You will NEVER win with 10 headless chickens running about. Everything has to be co-ordinated.

I love being engi. I've played badlands for about 2 hours and I STILL haven't worked out the best places [or even good places] for putting sentries
