meh. I've given up on MGO online. The HTTP update ALWAYS fails for me. The P2P is taking up ALL of my upload [50KBps] and only downloading at 30KBps.

Not risking going over my crappy 30GB monthly allowance. I can continue downloading in a week or two but the beta will be almost over. No point.

Not a very good first impression of a AAA game.

Is there anyway I can download this on my PC and copy it to the PS3 to install?

No.

I also downloaded with 30 kb/s, but the 2. update isn't nearly as big as the first one

Its not konamis fault you have bandwidth limit, i had to download at the same speed also it took about 3 hours.

Did you all download at 30KBps and upload at full speed?
Everyone knows that the optimal upload speed is about 3/4 of full speed otherwise the download speed suffers.

Considering that G's and my download was at around 30KBps, I reckon this was set by Konami. The P2P setup screen on MGO stated that the upload speed is set to twice or less the download speed. This is not good for people who have usage caps.

There is an option to limit the upload speed but it doesnt work very well I upploaded at about 26kb on a 30kb upload.
When i downloaded the 1st update i got around 90kb/sec like that and took about 2 hours max.
The 2nd update was maximum 30kb down and took about 30 mins max.
I turned upnp off.

I had upnp on and limited the upload. Doesn't matter. Gonna bring the ps3 into work and download it there Smile

Should have opened the firewall at home....

Anywho. 15% after 10 minutes. Nice.

Might be on tonight but might have to bring Liccle Trinity to work.
Might be on tomorrow night but see above Sad

Bringing my Trinity to work involves me being away from home for 3 to 4 hours. Waiting for her to give her pole dancing classes :D. Tough job but somebody has to do it.
