We played the match against Zen and I have to say I can't be bothered anymore playing CTF.

lets say 80% of the time all of zen used magnum only and they are playing CTF much more often then I am / we do. I don't like this level of CTF: Magnum only. Duckhunt season. Open maps are no fun with these magnum-skill-level around.

Second, C$W didnt show up saturday and sunday it was hard to get 4 members. I know moments when we had to discuss who is going to play. I guess C$W is not interested in CTF 1.71 anymore.

Will it be TF2 then? We only had 1 or 2 trainings and 2 friendly matches. So C$W is hanging between 2 games. Which one is it going to be? and.. if its going to be TF2, when will the real trainings begin? Is it worth training or is C$W just a fun clan

I still love ctf but also like tf2

I have to say, Candy played a blinder as defender. Saved a good few flags.

Dont think I will ever play HL2CTF again because "the game is full of cheaters"

Also I don like the brightskins tried them and they are horrid. They are only legal becasue sv_pure 2 doesnt work in CTF yet. Then theres the wierd hit reg i thought HL2DM was bad but it is 10x better than HL2CTF.
Whts with the stupid 10 cap rule again argh! Why cant the tourney be each team picks a HOME map then each match it is played.

Join Clans united HL2dm league it is much fun and RPG is king if you want to play it on your home map that is. [S-UK] the team i pay forare in 3rd division and are currently 2nd from bottom but hopefully we will win tomorrows war and climb a place to see the season out.

I don't like this level of CTF: Magnum only.

The pattern I see is:
-Anyone ever seriously used the SMG? Nope, because it became useless against the strongest weapons in hands of experienced players.
-Why did they make the RPG less deadly? Because it became too easy to kill. The same thing is happening now with a magnum. Tone down the 1 shot kill weapons and CTF is more fun to be in, more dog fights in stead of click-the-pixel-to-own = less black/white kinda gameplay, more dog fights.

This all together (ones again):
the gap between new guys and 1-click-kill-users got too big = CTF became a too steep hill to climb, too much black / white (Dead / alive) = the grey zone between alive and dead got smaller.

The best killing team now is always the winning team. No tactics can change that with this black and white kinda gameplay if you're the weaker team in kill skill.

IMO: CTF should be a good balanced mix between kill skill and tactics, so you don't need to rely on kill-skill only.

This balance is better found in TF2.

Is that the sanctuary kinda clan with SOUL! in there? IF SO, I'm banned from that server for dont know what reason. I was bothering some of those sanctuary players, cuz I pwnd them (easily) = I got banned. Thats the first and only server ban I ever experienced

No, S-UK does not ban skilled players. the fact that you say you "pwned them easily" is probably the reason why you are banned i.e your attitude.
No I am not admin and cannot unban you.
I am the one that is banned but not on any of CSW servers.

I was on there together with SOUL! to have some old time fun. Dunno why I got banned, nor did SOUL! understand. Guess I can't join you on their server

Maybe you were just kicked and was a temp ban?
Do you use toggle_zoom? S-UK servers are protected by steambans and detox and 1 of those kicks players for using toggle_zoom i know i use it myself and have been banned but the ban is usually temporary, about 30 minutes.
Also having silly non standar characters in name gets you kicked e.g ÐêøŒ
